About Ker’s Corner (and me)

photoI decided to start this website as my project for 2014. I have always been completely enthralled with and influenced by music and am generally a fan of all genres.
In terms of who I am: I’m quirky. I am a student who loves literature. In my spare time I am either writing music, playing music, or listening to music.

What I’m really putting my effort into now a days is just getting through school and living each day to its fullest. There are a lot of things out there to be happy and feel blessed about. So for now, that’s me in a nutshell. Hopefully people enjoy the same sort of things I do, and if not, maybe they will stumble upon something they surprisingly enjoy that they didn’t know about before. Also, for the future, I hope that the things I sometimes write that I think are funny or sound witty in my head come across that way, or else that would be incredibly awkward. So with that, bye! Thanks for reading this, skimming this, or pretending to read it!

  1. For older people like myself, your blog would be easier to read if the contrast between your background color and typeface color were greater. You know that gray is a component of green, right? Thank you for visiting my website and following my work. Let me know if you change the contrast so I can return to your site for a longer visit.

  2. Thanks for following my blog and really enjoyed reading about your and followed back. Looking forward to reading your posts:)

  3. I’m not so big on country myself, but I have found over the past few years that there is a lot of good rap and hip hop out there. I’d be happy to recommend!

  4. Thank you for following my blog! I see we share a passion for music. And I agree with “A.” Rap (as well as country) can be really good! It all depends on what you’re listening to. There is some pretty incredible country and country rock from the 60’s and 70’s that is WAY better than today’s country. And once you get over the lack of conventional pop melodies in rap, it becomes pretty awesome. Opening your mind to all types of music is an incredible experience, and I urge you to try it! On another note, how did you get so many likes/followers in such a short time? I starting my blog at the beginning of 2014 and I don’t have nearly as big of an audience as you.

    • I definitely need to start looking around for some country/rap. I started listening to some Kendrick Lamar and he’s not bad! Also, about the likes and followers, I really have no idea how that happened. I have just been extraordinarily lucky I suppose. Thank you for checking out my blog!

  5. Thanks so much for the follow on my blog, The Writer’s Apprentice. Its great to find another music lover on here! With the exception of Rap and Opera I love all kinds of music, even country 🙂 Music is always playing, rocking the windows, while I write – helps me block out the outer world and listen to my inner world. Have fun with your music and I will be visiting from time to time.

  6. hello there! thanks for visiting EOS. i’m looking through your blog…. pretty interesting stuff, you’ve got here. are you a fan of the 1975?

i’ve never been a fan of rap, either. however, i find it tolerable to listen to rap whenever it’s combined with rock or metal, which other people find a bit odd because they say i don’t look the part. what should a listener of rap/metal look like anyway? haha!

    • Hello! Thank you for checking out my blog as well. I was indifferent toward the 1975 at first, but they are growing on me. That sounds like an interesting combination! I’ll have to give it a go! Haha how bizarre, I didn’t know there were specific looks for different music genres 🙂

  7. Hello There

Thank you so much for following my blog 🙂 I really love music too, especially classical music. Maybe one day you may write something about classical music:) Thank you and many blessings to you.

  11. Upon reading your “About”, I found myself thinking that you kind of sound like me. As a music-, movie-, and book-loving dreamer trying to just live life, I’m still trying to figure out what I want to do and what my *realistic* goals are. You seem like a cool person. Thanks for sharing on your blog.
