A Daily Dose Of Drama

I don’t understand why entertainers feel the need to be overtly shocking or what not by negatively targeting others. If you haven’t heard, Eminem recently uploaded a freestyle video in which he says,

“But I may fight for gay rights, especially if they dyke is more of a knockout than Janay Rice / Play nice? / Bitch I’ll punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice, like Ray Rice in broad daylight in the plain sight of the elevator surveillance / ‘Til her head is banging on the railing, then celebrate with the Ravens.”

Aside from the other blatantly offensive & messed up things in this verse, his calling out Lana Del Rey is entirely unnecessary. In 2012 LDR was quoted saying,

“Eminem is the master of lyrics whereas Frank Sinatra is the master of vocals… I f–ing love Eminem.”

He was just returning the love, right? Wrong. To add to this, rapper Azealia Banks has come to Lana’s defense, calling out Eminem and sticking up for Lana. This is an extremely kind and admirable gesture, yet it proves how quickly things can escalate. Now many people are involved in a situation that should not have happened at all.
